  • £15.00

1970s soul group from Chester, Pennsylvania, AKA ‘The Twilights’ / The Delights consisted of four male singers. With two of them being Emanuel Milton Campbell Jr.’s cousins, brothers Keith “Toppie” (the eldest) and Ellis Hill, their cousin Jaime Hill plus a teenage friend of theirs. The lead singer was a girl called Peaches, all aged between 16 and 17 years old and all coming from Chester, PA.  As The ‘The Delights’.  they recorded the delightful crossover soul dance track “Listen To Me Girl” during the months of July and August of 1968. Sadly their only completed recording being young and somewhat unruly they never completed the project, and they remained unissued until put out by Soul Junction Records.

Originally released on  Soul Junction SJ1008 with the B-Side by Tearra "Just Loving You" but sold out quite quickly so due to demand has been re-issued with another B Side the previously unissued track by the Delights "Come And Rejoice" along with an instrumental version of "Listen To Me".
